TAX DISPUTE

Many homeowners have been very happy to see their home values increasing over the past several years. However, with these home value increases have come higher taxes. As Texas charges some of the highest property tax rates in the nation, it can often be advantageous to have a professional review of a property as compared to that of what is stated via the county. Part of this review involves measurement of the property itself to obtain a square footage. From my experience, the results of these measurements can, in some instances, be substantially different from that shown on county records. As an Appraiser, I have to remain impartial in terms of valuation, but likewise am willing to listen to, point out, review, and valuate factual data that the county may have overlooked.
